Christmas is here

Ok. I can tell people are now shopping for Christmas. I felt like it started late this year (I could be wrong). Knock on wood BIG time because I’ve had a few sales and would like some more. I’ve also been listing on eBay like a mad woman and have had some sales there also.

When did you first start to see sales pick up some? It’s been the last week I believe.

The funny thing is that over on eBay, listings that normally get good views are not right now. That part sort of sucks.

Thanks and Merry Christmas. Let the fun begin and many sales for all. Ho Ho Ho.

Cool deal!! I bet it will keep going like that for you. You have got the inventory for that.

Okay. So I just got a sale via social media based on my stats. It’s the first time I ever got one this way. I never did social on this listing, so it must have been from someone else somewhere promoting. Thank you to whoever that may be.

Last week was the first time I ever got a sale directly off of Bonanza (sale shows up under Direct via our stat’s page), so I was real glad to see this.

I loved the social media FVF…only 3.8 percent. I’m not sure how come it was not 3.5% though. I’m sure there would have to be a logical answer for that one.

I’m happy to see things are picking up.

Due to the Canada Post labour dispute and delays, I’ve put my shops here and Etsy in vacation mode. They have been since the first week of November and I don’t think I will re-open now til after Christmas. :(

Oh well, I will try to get a bunch of draft listings ready to add new stuff.

Happy selling!

I’m sorry to hear that Bookbin. I’d be really disappointed. How long has it been, if at all, since a labour dispute?

Nothing here, Ebay is better and I’ve been knocking it out on Facebook marketplace. No fees!

Congrats on FB. How difficult is it to set up on Facebook marketplace and how do you set up a way to accept payments on there? Thanks

I use an old personal FB page that I had back in 2011. But I post an item, usually someone locally responds and we set up a meet up. If they would like it shipped, I get their PayPal addy and ship accordingly. The only fee is the PayPal fee.

Okay. I can see how this could work well. I bet you have a lot of followers on FB with it being an old account (sorry, I cannot remember what word it is called, so I’m calling it follower lol).

I almost fell out of my chair the other night, I had TWO sales in one evening!
